“Opportunities don’t often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them.” – Audrey Hepburn
When was the last time an opportunity was presented in front of you?
Whether it was a job promotion or a chance to do something fun and different.
Did you take it?
There was a time where I was not willing to walk through the open doors of opportunity.
I questioned everything and only thought of the worst-case scenarios. Stopping myself from following through.
One day, I just got so sick and tired of not taking chances and wanted more for my life then just living with “what if’s” and the “what could’ve been”.
So I started to say “Yes” to more of the opportunities that felt right and true to what I wanted.
You can too and here is why…
Helps Push Past Fear
By taking an opportunity presented in front of you, you are practicing the habit of pushing through what scares you.
Once you start trusting in your gut by saying yes to these opportunities, the fear of the unknown will uncover itself to be something worthwhile.
Meet New People
You never know who you will meet.
Building your network of friends or professionals is always beneficial for just about anything! Like when you need a good plumber, a close friend is quick to get you connected with the right person.
What I’m saying is that you never know who others know and it helps with the chances of finding great opportunities!
Gain More Experience With Every Opportunity
Even the smallest of opportunities is a chance to add another tool on your belt!
Try new things and learn what you can. You may stumble upon finding a passion, adding more to your resume and finding great opportunities that are right up your alley.
Trust Your Gut
You don’t have to say yes to every opportunity, especially the ones you don’t have a good gut feeling about. (Always listen to you gut-feelings)
But if your gut feeling is one that is saying, “Hey, that one is a good one, go for it!” By all means, listen to it!

Creates More Opportunity
Lastly, When you open one door, more doors are bound to open.
Sometimes when one opportunity doesn’t go as well as you thought, it was needed to get to the next opportunity that goes even better!
Opportunities will come and go but if you never take a chance on them, you will never know where they could take you.
Use these 5 reasons to take the opportunities presented in front of you and you will see how well they can help in achieving your goals and dreams!
