Confidence can be something we struggle with on the daily.
Maybe there are times you feel that you’re ready to be confident and when you step outside, you crawl back into the shell of comfort.
That is me. I struggle with confidence.
Not as much as I did before because of my journey towards self-expression and not giving a damn.
But the old habit of low self-esteem hits hard a lot of the time.

Why You Deserve Your Confidence
You deserve your confidence because it’s yours! You’ve got the right to grab hold of it and wear it like a crown!
We should all be wearing our confidence like the Queens we are! Always remember that!

Ways To Feel More Confident
*Disclaimer: These are tips I use to feel more confident and still use because although I wish I could say I’ve got no worry in the world, I still struggle with my confidence.
When it comes to finding your confidence, there are a lot of things that you can do to bring it out more.
The practice is always the best thing because even if it’s not perfect, you’re still working on bringing out that confidence.
Use these tips to boost that confidence up and feel good about who you are!
Smiling is an easy way to boost your confidence!
It’s not only a sign of being happy, but it raises your self-esteem too according to briantracy.com.
There is something about getting ready for your day that gets you feeling like you can go and accomplish anything.
When you intentionally get ready, it’s like you cloak yourself with your confidence and it makes you feel good.
So put on your favorite outfit, do your hair the way you like, and get on out there to radiate your confidence!
Affirmations are a great way to make yourself believe in what your saying is true.
By constantly telling yourself for example “I love myself” you are rewiring your mind to accept that statement as true. See more on affirmations here
So, use affirmations as a way to boost your confidence. Here are a few affirmations you can start using right now:
- You are confident
- You are amazing
- You’re the best you can
- Nothing will stop you from going after what you want
- You are happy & positive
Accept The Compliments
How many times have you been complimented by someone and you just immediately shut it down by saying “oh stop it” or “oh, this thing? It’s really old”?
Why do we do that?
We should be taking that compliment and feel good about it!
Instead of adding commentary to the compliment we’ve been given, accept it and just say “Thank You”!
It won’t be easy at first, but go ahead and practice it! Those little compliments will help you with raising your confidence.
Just like others showing you some love with compliments, how about showing yourself some love too!
Start by talking positively to yourself, whether by using affirmations or just easing up on being so hard on yourself.

Surround Yourself With Positive People
Lastly, be sure to be surrounding yourself with people who are uplifting and supportive.
You can find a community of like-minded people on social media platforms and even in person.
By surrounding yourself with others who raise each other, it helps you feel empowered and more confident!
Confidence is something that can be hard to work with. But if you put in the practice and believe in yourself, you can proudly wear that confidence like a crown!
